Patient Participation Group

What is a PPG?

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of volunteer patients, carers and GP practice staff who meet regularly to discuss and support the running of their GP practice.

PPGs look at the services the practice offers, patient experience and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients and the practice.

Kingston Health PPG

Our PPG meets around once every three months here at the practice and is a friendly and open forum for discussion.

The Group reviews all matter of importance that affect patients, mainly related to the Practice, but also of more general health issues, such as changes to policy in the NHS both locally and nationally.

We are always looking for new members to join, and the Practice encourages involvement and attendance for all areas of the practice community, with the aim of ensuring that the Group is representative of the Practice’s patient profile.

If you are interested, please enquire at reception and we will be happy to add you to the list of members

Ground Rules

  • This group is not a forum for individual complaints and single issues.
  • We advocate open and honest communication.
  • All views are valid and will be listened to.
  • Silence indicates agreement – please speak up!

Join our Patient Group

Why  not join our Patient Representative Group (PRG) and help us develop the practice with a better understanding of what is important for our patients. Members of the PRG meet from time to time with the practice team and discuss a wide range of issues. Please contact us if you would like further information.
